ClaudeVBA Support

Email daniel@claudevba.com. Include your operating system, Companion version, what you expected, and the exact error. For subscription or access issues, also include the email address used at Stripe Checkout.

Connector availability

Claude Pro and Max users can generally add a custom connector through their own Claude settings. Team and Enterprise organizations can restrict connectors; an owner or admin may need to review, allow, or configure ClaudeVBA before members can connect it. Organization policy takes precedence over this guide.

Download or activation

Open the private access link sent when your 3-day trial started.
Use Manage subscription there for payment or cancellation issues.
Allow downloads and requests to open the claudevba: app link.
Install Companion before choosing Activate & Connect.
Production signing is not yet complete, so customer downloads remain disabled. Do not treat an unsigned local build as a verified signed download; review the official software and safety page before installing.

Connector is offline

Open Companion and confirm that it is activated and connected.
Select the intended Active workbook in Companion.
In Claude, confirm that ClaudeVBA is enabled for the current conversation.
If your organization manages connectors, ask its owner or admin to check policy.

Workbook cannot be deployed

Review the staged diff and keep the saved local workbook open for normal deployment. Companion applies VBA live when Excel automation and VBA project access are available. If automation is unavailable and Excel locks the file, Companion reports that limitation and may ask you to close the workbook once before a file-based deploy. Test generated VBA on a copy before using it on important files.
